Step 1: Plug in and pour
After turning on your wax warmer, pour in your Rosin-Free Blue Wax Beads, to fill up the warmer, add in a scoop at a time, while stirring, until the warmer is full, then adjust to working temperature.
Step 2: Set the wax and test on yourself
Lower the temperature to 70˚C - 75˚C and let the wax cool to a thick, manuka honey-like texture. Remember, consistency is more important than the temperature, and for best results always use a Starpil Professional Wax Warmer. Test a strip on your wrist before commencing service on the client.
Step 3: Prep the skin
Apply your favorite Starpil Pre-Wax gel on the area to prep the skin. Next, remove any excess product with a clean dry cotton round. Let the area dry completely before going in with your wax.
Step 4: It’s waxing time
Apply wax in a U-shape, form a lip, and let it cool until the strip is semi-hardened and not sticky to the touch. Hold the skin taut, quickly and firmly peel it off by pulling back in the opposite direction of the application.
